George Long Elementary is participating in a food drive to spread kindness in our community!! This month, students are learning all about kindness. We thought it would be a special opportunity for students to show kindness through a food drive. All donated items will be given to Grass Lake Community families and organizations.
Our food drive will take place on Monday, October 10th, and end on Tuesday, October 31st. Students are encouraged to donate any non-perishable food items, such as canned goods, pasta, rice, cereal, and boxed meals.
In addition to providing food assistance, our food drive is also an opportunity to spread kindness and compassion. By coming together as a community to help those in need, we can make a real difference in the lives of our neighbors!!!
