Emmersyn McClure, incoming 4th grader at George Long Elementary, is the 2023 National Showcase Champion Preliminary Character division!
She competed against 58 other skaters in this category from all over the U.S. The 2023 National Showcase competition was held outside of Boston this past week.
Emmersyn began skating at the age of two and a half in Chelsea at the Arctic Coliseum Ice Rink. She has competed with the Chelsea Figure Skating Club throughout lower Michigan and Ohio, and this was her first national competition.
