We have received official confirmation that Dakota Bahlau has been selected as a 2026 Grosvenor Teacher Fellow through the National Geographic Society and Lindblad Expeditions. There were over 700 applicants this year and Dakota was one of the 36 selected!

The Grosvenor Teacher Fellowship is a highly respected professional learning opportunity that places educators in the field on expedition, where they collaborate with scientists, naturalists, and explorers. The experience is designed to bring real-world learning, global awareness, and authentic storytelling back into the classroom to enhance student engagement and learning.

As part of this fellowship, the expedition will take place in November to Patagonia, a remote region at the southern tip of South America, aboard the National Geographic Enduranc Lindblad Expeditions vessel, designed to access some of the most remote environments on Earth.

This opportunity also includes collaboration with a cohort of educators from across North America, providing a platform to exchange ideas, share best practices, and bring a broader global perspective back to our students.

This is beyond exciting news for Dakota and a wonderful representation of our school community. We are so proud!
