Member of the Warrior Family
It is with sad heart that we inform you that we have lost a member of the Warrior family. Gerald “Junior” Ambs, the Grass Lake Community Schools bus mechanic, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023. He was a dedicated employee and a good friend to many in our district. Junior was employed by the district for over 20 years and was very proud of the work he completed. He was always ready to help out in any way whenever it was needed. He often drove bus when we were short drivers and that included taking some extra trips in the evening. The district will miss his willingness to do whatever it took to help the students and the staff. He will be missed by many. Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts.
