Great Start Readiness Program
The Great Start Readiness Preschool Program (GSRP) is coming to Grass Lake Community Schools this Fall!! The Great Start Readiness Program is a high-quality preschool program funded by the State of Michigan to ensure that all 4 year olds can have a Great Start towards their school success. Children must be 4 years old by September 1, 2015 but some children may be considered if they are 4 years old by December 1, 2015. The Great Start Readiness Preschool Program was created to expand 4 year old preschool opportunities to include lower, middle and higher income families. For example, a family of 4 can make $60,625 or lower and receive a free preschool spot. Families above this income level may also receive a GSRP preschool spot for a small fee.
