Meeting Attendance InformationDue to recent Health Department recommendations and allowances, the Grass Lake Board of Education meeting scheduled for Monday, March 8, 2021, at 7:00 PM, will be held in the Grass Lake High School Auditorium as an in-person meeting. Participants must observe social distancing protocols, and attendance will be limited in numbers. This meeting will also be streamed on Facebook at www.facebook.com/grasslakecs/, but all comments from citizens must be made in person and will not be read from the Facebook comment section.
SCHOOL BOARD MEETING UPDATE -For the Grass Lake Board of Education meeting scheduled for 7:00 PM on Monday, March 8, comments shared online on Facebook during this meeting will be shared with the Board during the meeting. Also, there will be a maximum of 10 guests allowed into the auditorium for this meeting.

BUS DRIVERS NEEDED -
$180-$200 per week take home pay

Coronavirus Protection
While the Coronavirus Covid 19 is being monitored by our government agencies, the Michigan Department of Education reminds all of us to maintain basic cleanliness and prevention methods that include: o Remaining at home if you are sick and avoid close contact with people who are sick. o Avoiding touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. o Washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are unavailable. o Covering cough and sneezes with a tissue or sleeve. Provide adequate supplies within easy reach, including tissues and no-touch trash cans.

School Closing Information

Grass Lake Community Schools Described
The staff at Grass Lake Community Schools educates students in three buildings that are located in the growing community of Grass Lake. Our school district has a proven record of continuous academic improvement. Our offerings include: 1) K-12 education, 2) our Little Warriors preschool program, which includes the Great Start Readiness Program, and 3) our Little Warriors child care program for children ages 12 months old through 12 years old. We boast a strong academic program that offers a variety of curricula, along with numerous interscholastic and extra-curricular activities that offer enrichment opportunities for all segments of our school population.

When Grass Lake Community Schools receives notification of a positive COVID-19 case, Grass Lake Community Schools will notify students and staff who were in direct contact of the positive case. Grass Lake Community Schools will then notify GLCS staff members and the community of the number of positive cases and the location using an electronic "dashboard".
