She wrestled in the 108 lbs cadet division which is for girls that were born in 1996 or 1997. She was wrestling against girls who were in 8th grade, 9th grade, or 10th grade. She pinned all of her opponents in the first period on her way to the finals. In the finals, she re-injured the same shoulder that she hurt in January and ended up losing in the finals. This was Theresa's first loss against another girl at any point in her young career. She ended up taking second place in the Nation for Girls Folkstyle.

In April, she plans on competing for the State Freestyle Championship. If she places first or second in the State meet, she will travel to Florida for the Fila Body Bar National Freestyle Championship in May for the Cadet division. Girls who place first at this National Meet qualify for the USA world team and girls who place second at the meet qualify for the National Pan Am Games.
