• COMING TO GRASS LAKE! POUND AND HardCORE PILATES

    The Jackson YMCA is excited to offer two outstanding fitness classes at Grass Lake Middle School Cafeteria beginning January 30
     
    POUND is a heart-pounding, total body workout in which the instructor helps unleash your inner rockstar! Using weighted drum sticks called Ripstix, you'll drum your way to a fitter self, all while enjoying such fabulous music that you forget you're working out! Want to see what it looks like?     • Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00-6:50 pm in the Grass Lake Middle School cafeteria. 
    • $48 for 12 sessions (or $36 for school employees/YMCA members) or $5 for drop-ins.
     
    hardCORE Pilates is a mind-body workout in which you learn how to control your body. You will work on balance, stability, precision, stamina, relaxation, and postural alignment. Pilates is fabulous for every body at every stage of life. If you can get onto the floor and back up to a standing position, you can benefit from this class.     • Mondays 7:00-7:50 pm in the Grass Lake Middle School cafeteria. 
    • $24 for 6 sessions (or $18 for school employees/YMCA members) or $5 for drop-ins.
    Grass Lake Community Schools personnel are invited to participate in a free demonstration POUND class on Monday, January 23 at 3:30 pm at the Grass Lake Middle School cafeteria. (Wear clothes you can sweat in and shoes you can pivot in. Bring a cushioned mat or a few towels for floor work.) Other members of the community are welcome to observe.

    Registration will be onsite on the first day of class. Cash or check will be accepted.
