    The staff at Grass Lake High School provides an educational environment that meets the diverse needs of our students as we strive to maximize success, while working to optimize communications between school and home, and promoting student contact with our community members and businesses. We always welcome visitors to come and see what we are all about.

    Beginning Monday, July 9, construction will begin on the approach to the main front doors at Grass Lake High School. This construction will continue through this week. Our Grass Lake High School administrative assistant will be in the office on Tuesday, July 17, from 9:30 AM-3:00 PM. To enter the HS building during that time, enter through the front door immediately to the east of the main front entrance. Sports teams will be entering through alternate areas. High School staff will enter through the teacher entrance on the north side of the building.

    Inquiries regarding Grass Lake High School during the summer can be made by contacting the High School office on the days and times listed in the "Upcoming Events" on this web page. Outside of those times you can leave a message and your call will be returned. If you need immediate assitance, call our Grass Lake Community Schools Central Office at 517-867-5540. Central Office hours are generally 8:00 AM-4:00 PM. Voice messages left on the Central Office line will be responded to on the next business day. The Grass Lake High School will be staffed on a daily basis again beginning Monday, August 13.

  • Gymnastics Opportunity Available for GLHS Students

    The Jackson High School gymnastics team has invited interested girls from Concord, Grass Lake, Napoleon and Northwest to join their club gymnastics team with practices beginning at Jackson High School on October 29 for the winter athletic season, with the season running through the State Finals on March 8 and 9. Interested individuals should contact the Grass Lake High School athletic office to get more information and to sign up. This team will present as a Jackson High School team.

    During the Grass Lake High School Seniors' Awards Night our school administrators proudly announced that Jordan Satterthwaite and McKenze Thompson are the Class of 2018's Valedictorian and Salutatorian, respectively. These are incredible accomplishments being that they are part of a particularly accomplished class of scholars. Well done Jordan and McKenze!

  • Cody Nickerson's Career Path Begins

    Grass Lake High School Senior Cody Nickerson is entering the workforce in heating and Cooling. Cody has worked for H&H Heating and Cooling part time and during summers, and now Cody has been hired by H&H to work full-time upon his graduation from high school. We wish him the best in his chosen career path!
