Our district enrolls 1,260 students in our pre-school through 12th grade system in three buildings, while maintaining an active Preschool and Child Care facility for students who are 12 months through 12 years old.   • American Legion is Offering Scholarships

    Grass Lake area students that are descendants of US veterans may be eligible to receive an American Legion's Legacy Scholarship. The Legion granted 55 scholarships in 2017 totaling over US$600,000 in scholarship money. Click on the heading of this announcement for more information.

  • Brett Lockridge Is Headed for States

    Congratulations to Grass Lake High School Senior Brett Lockridge who has earned a trip to the MHSAA Wrestling State Finals with his success at Regionals this past Saturday. Brett will compete at the Individual State Finals at Detroit's Ford Field on March 2 and 3. Well done Brett! We are very proud of you. It is a great day to be a Warrior!

  • Road Closure on Bohne Road Announced

    The Jackson County Department of Transportation has announced that Bohne Road is now closed between Kalmbach and Maute Road due to a road failure. Depending on the weather, they are hoping to have it repaired by February 23.

  • Scholarship Opportunities

    The Grass Lake Alumni Association and the Grass Lake Educational Foundation are offering $500 scholarships. Application submission deadlines are April 13, 2018, for both scholarship opportunities. Click on the header of this announcement for more information.

  • Hope Waidley Video Going Viral

    2017 Grass Lake High School graduate and current Grand Valley State University Freshman now has a music video that has gone viral.   • We Are Proud to Announce Our 5th Through 8th Grade Spelling Bee Champions

    We had our school-wide bee Wednesday night and are very excited to announce the students who will be representing Grass Lake at the South Central Michigan Bee at Western High School on March 13, 2018. Our champions are: 5th grade champion is Tyler Paul, alternate Ben Eros; 6th grade champion is Nikki Rapert, alternate Avery Beeman; 7th grade champion is Ella Easterday, alternate Cole Kenneau; and 8th grade champion is Jack Easterday, alternate Annie Miller. Be sure and congratulate these students as you see them around town!

  • Intermediate Digital Photography Class Begins March 19 at Grass Lake High School

    Grass Lake Community Education introduces Digital Photography II, an intermediate class taught by long-time instructor Don Baker. Classes will run from 6-9 PM at Grass Lake High School on the Mondays of March 19, March 26, April 9, April 16, and April 23. The cost of the class is $99, which covers all five classes.     Many of our Grass Lake High School families will begin thinking about financial aid as our students begin making plans for paying for their education after high school. An important element to that process is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).   • Schoology Links - Schoology is a learning managment system (LMS) for K-12 schools, higher education institutions, and corporations that allows users to create, manage, and share content and resources. Also known as a course management system (CMS) or virtual learning environment (VLE), the cloud-based platform provides tools to manage any classroom or blended learning environment.

    Powerschool Links - PowerSchool accounts can be set-up for both teachers and parents. PowerSchool makes it easy for teachers to record grades, take attendance, and check student profiles. On the other hand, it's convenient for parents to check all of their child's grades as soon as they are posted

    Illuminate Links - Illuminate offers a solution toward compiling assessments, report cards, gradebooks, supporting data analysis and increasing parent communication.
