We're glad you have stopped to see our school district's website. Our district enrolls over 1,250 students in our pre-school through 12th grade system in three buildings. We are continually workingáto improve our students' academic achievement by increasing rigor, while promoting relevance and relationships with our students.áWe are located in the Township of Grass Lake in Jackson County in the south-central area of Michigan, just south of Interstate 94, approximately 20 miles west of Ann Arbor and 10 miles east of Jackson. Fall, 2015 "Smoke Signals" Now Available
On a quarterly basis Grass Lake Community Schools publishes its District newsletter, The Smoke Signals. The fall issue is mailed to every home in the Grass Lake School District, while the balance of the publications are presented only online. Attention Grass Lake Students - Be Twirler for a Day
Be a "Twirler for a Day" on Thursday, September 3, at halftime of the Varsity football game, joining the GLHS Marching Band during their performance. New twirlers and experienced twirlers are welcome to participate. (See more)á
