Mr. Brad Hamilton

We're glad you have stopped to see our school district's website. Our district enrolls over 1,250 students in our
pre-school through 12th grade system in three buildings. We are continually working to improve our students' academic achievement by increasing rigor, while promoting relevance and relationships with our students. Grass Lake Community Schools boast academic advancement programs for all ages through our Little Warriors Pre-School and Daycare program, our "Response to Intervention" program, our cooperative efforts with "Energizing Education", our implementation of "The Leader in Me" program, our dual enrollment opportunities, and our advanced placement opportunities. Join these with a wide selection of interscholastic and extra-curricular opportunities and you will find a comprehensive opportunity for our students.

We are
located in the Township of Grass Lake, in Jackson County in the south-central area of Michigan just south of Interstate 94, approximately 50 miles west of Detroit and 10 miles east of Jackson.

Along with our main web page, which you are currently viewing, our website has four other start pages that can be found u
nder "Schools" in the navigation bar below our header. Continuing across that bar you will find general information about our school district and our community. You will will also find navigation bars on the left side of each page containing information that is more specific to each of our buildings. It is our intention to make this page as easily accessible as possible. We invite comments toward improving our web presence, which can be sent to Click here for directions to our Central Office.
