On May 5, 2015, Michigan voters will head to the polls to vote on Proposal 1 - a statewide ballot initiative that will raise funds to improve Michigan's roads, bridges and schools. More information about the proposal in the form of a fact sheet can be found at http://bit.ly/1OKn10m.

We are now accepting Schools of Choice applications for the 2015-2016 school year. To access forms, please click on "District Forms" above.
We're glad you have stopped to see our school district's website. Our district enrolls over 1,250 students in our pre-school through 12th grade system in three buildings. We are continually working to improve our students' academic achievement by increasing rigor, while promoting relevance and relationships with our students.

We are located in the Township of Grass Lake in Jackson County in the south-central area of Michigan, just south of Interstate 94, approximately 50 miles west of Detroit and 10 miles east of Jackson.
Hague Road Bridge Will On Closed Beginning Monday, May 11
The bridge on Hague Road that is between Marion Road and Jackson College will be closed for demolition and re-construction on Monday, May 11, 2015. It will remain closed for approximately three months.(see more) 
Balance Calendar Discussion Update
The results of the conversations at the 12 recent public school community forums intended to discuss the possibilites around a balanced calendar have led to several decisions on the next steps of the county-wide discussion. (see more) 
District Calender Update - End of Year
Upon further review of the Michigan Department of Education's "Pupil Accounting Manual", it has been determined that we have NOT exceeded our allowable school closing days for the 2014-2015 school year. (See more)
